We used this curriculum for 10th grade biology and have been very happy with the choice. It was recommended to us by another homeschooler to prepare for college. The book is in words that parents can understand to further guide your kids. The book adds a Christian point of view to science. Image that! How nice.
We chose to order the dissection kit with specimens, which added a lot to the class as well. Included with the specimiens were, a worm, perch, crayfish and frog. It made mom (me) a bit squeemish, but I recovered. Very interesting and I would highly recomment this book or any of the Apologia for science. A+++
